No Kid Hungry
Arby’s works hard to make a difference in the communities we serve by impacting the issue of childhood hunger on national, state and local levels. Nationally, we partner with Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry® campaign. As a Core Partner of the No Kid Hungry campaign, the highest delineation for a partner, we work with them on all levels to take a strategic approach to ending childhood hunger by funding long-term innovative programs and sustainable solutions that impact the issue of childhood hunger.
Junior Achievement
The Arby’s Foundation is a proud supporter of 3DE by Junior Achievement: a fully-immersive school-within-a-school program that brings real world connectivity into the everyday academic experience to create a highly engaging and relevant learning environment. 3DE challenges students to think beyond the classroom walls, pushes students to think boldly and discover solutions, and provides opportunities for students to create connections with professionals, peers and possibilities.
Big Brothers Big Sisters
Research shows that one-to-one mentoring improves a child’s confidence, academic performance and decision making. Big Brothers Big Sisters has been doing the important work to match kids (Littles) with mentors (Bigs) and to actively support these mentoring relationships since 1904.
Folds of Honor
The Arby’s Foundation is proud to support our veteran families through our partnership with Folds of Honor. Their mission is to “Honor their sacrifice. Educate their legacy.” Our support support provides scholarships to children of America’s fallen and disabled service members. This year, we provided 80 scholarships to youth in communities across the country.
School’s Out, Food’s In
Our School’s Out, Food’s in (SOFI) program is designed to support children who struggle to find meals during the summer when they no longer have access to free or reduced price school lunches. Each year, before the last day of school, Arby’s partners with local school systems to provide students with a SOFI meal card, providing 10 free Arby’s Kids meals for each student during the summer. This summer, Arby’s has provided access to over 3 million meals for kids in need.
Good Citizens Month
In April, the Arby’s system joins the broader Inspire Brands family to participate in Good Citizens month. Team members across the country put the Arby’s Make a Difference value into action through volunteerism. Volunteer projects include food bank support, tutoring, park clean-up, coat drives, Habitat for Humanity and much more.
Chef's Cycle
Chefs Cycle is a three-day, 300-mile cycling event hosted by No Kid Hungry featuring chefs and members of the culinary community coming together to fight hunger outside of the kitchen. For the past five years, The Arby’s Foundation Meat Pedalers team has participated in this incredible fundraising event cycling more than 4,000 total miles.
